The Story Behind Gaamaa Jewellery
Hi, I’m Gaamaa – pronounced [gar·muh] as in “karma”. It’s a Mongolian name.
My path into the world of jewellery was unexpected. I began my career as a business analyst with Save the Children.
During a work assignment overseas, I was captivated by shimmering gemstones and intricate beads at a local market. I felt irresistibly drawn to them.
With dreams of establishing a thriving online store, I set out to sell them. It didn’t work. Not one to be deterred, with lots of unsold stock, I channelled my passion into designing jewellery.
Now, twelve years later, countless customers and their recipients have unwrapped Gaamaa gifts during birthdays and Christmases, each piece with a unique touch – pieces that tell a story, your story.
